Our brief

As a strategic partner, we supported Smart Living Hub in shaping and advancing its Salesforce strategy and systematically transferring knowledge to the organisation and its teams. Drawing on long-standing experience, established methods and implementation best practices, we created the conditions needed to use Salesforce as a scalable platform for developing industry solutions in the energy market and for testing new business models.

Our client

Founded in 2019 on the initiative of the Thüga innovation platform, SLH Smart Living Hub GmbH aims to position energy utilities and energy solution providers in the megatrends and growth markets of the energy transition, decarbonisation and digitalisation. The company supports its customers in building and scaling their energy solutions business (including e-mobility, photovoltaics and heating solutions).

At the heart of the solution landscape is SLHub, a SaaS industry solution for energy services based on Salesforce. SLHub enables customer-centric and scalable handling of energy solution products and allows them to be combined seamlessly with existing products and systems.

Our collaboration

D2G supports SLH in independently developing solution approaches for digital end-to-end processes on the Salesforce platform and validating them through MVPs. The shared goal is to create solutions that are efficient, sustainable and continuously usable. To maximise Salesforce’s impact, our collaboration focuses on three key dimensions: technology, people and processes.

  • We demonstrate best practices for implementing Salesforce in a state-of-the-art way for SLH’s specific business scenarios
  • We apply platform-agnostic, “best-of-breed” approaches and carefully select complementary software solutions that work optimally with Salesforce
  • We support SLH in building the right structures (team setup, delivery pipeline, processes) and enable employees through training, coaching, job shadowing and hands-on guidance
