To ensure first-class service for customers and prospects, Salesforce is continuously extended to support new departments and business processes.

At Colliers, this is driven by a strong team consisting of a project and product manager, business analysts, technical architects and developers.

We support the team in its platform transformation, with a particular focus on requirements management, stakeholder communication and iterative process optimisation.

Continuous optimisation of processes and UI

As a long-standing partner, we work with Colliers’ Digital Projects unit to digitalise business processes across various business units and asset classes in two-week sprints.

To analyse current processes, we conduct focused workshops with subject-matter experts and document workflows using structured process models.

Once a deep understanding of existing processes and optimisation potential has been established, we collaborate with UI/UX experts to design efficient target processes in Salesforce. Particular emphasis is placed on a sustainable Salesforce architecture and user-centric design. Planned changes are visualised and validated using mock-ups. 

During analysis, you always look at things through a technical lens and know exactly where the limits are. At the same time, you’re able to explain complex topics in a very non-technical, user-friendly way.

Complex requirements, efficiently implemented

A particular challenge in a recent project was the generation and automated delivery of exposés and other sales documents. Two key questions arose:

  1. How can we ensure that Salesforce data with complex population logic is displayed correctly in documents?
  2. How can we maintain high design standards in automatically generated files?

Together, we conducted a detailed comparison of available document generation tools and validated them against these complex requirements.

After selecting the most suitable solution, we designed processes that enable fast and simple offer creation and automated sending directly from Salesforce.

To ensure successful adoption across different business units, we complemented live training sessions with short videos and handouts that users can access at any time. The combination of close collaboration with key users and multiple training formats has led to high user acceptance of the platform.
